You may experience the energy as sensations such as heat,
tingling, or pulsing where the practitioner places her hands
on your body, or you may feel these sensations move through
your body to other locations. Some people may not perceive any
change at all. Most people feel very relaxed and peaceful; many
clients even fall asleep while receiving a Reiki treatment.

How is Reiki delivered?
During a Reiki session, you usually lie on a massage table or sit in
a chair, fully clothed. The Reiki practitioner uses light touch or non-
touch and gently places his or her hands on or hovering above your
body in specific energy locations during the session. The length of
time that the practitioner leaves his or her hands in each position is
determined by the flow of energy through his or her hands to you at
each location. There is no pressure, massage or manipulation.
Massage therapy uses a variety of techniques to relieve pain, reduce tension, and improve circulation. Some common techniques include:
Effleurage: Light or deep strokes that can help relax muscles and increase blood flow
Petrissage: Kneading the muscles to help relieve spasms or tightness

" I came to Destiny a complete skeptic !I never heard of Reiki Healing so in my mind, I knew a massage at the LEAST would be beneficial.
Before the experience I was a bit nervous, but my host made me feel at ease, they made me super comfortable and she was very personable. She explained in detail what she was going to do to me and how she was going to go about it.
As I said I am a skeptic. "However, I would recommend visiting Moirai to anyone and everyone. I firmly believe that if the general public could experience even 1/4th of what I felt in the experience the world would be a ten times better place."
The lasting effects of this experience are also felt far down the line! I find myself more aware of other people's energy/emotions, I have a better understanding of my own trauma and blockages as well. I will be visiting again to Recap with Destiny and to go deeper into myself.
